We also provide assistance to adult adoptees who were adopted through Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Greensburg and are seeking non-identifying information about their birth parents. This can also lead to a request to locate and meet the birth parents. Procedures are handled carefully to ensure the confidentiality of all involved, and counseling is made available to all interested parties. To begin the process, the client must make a request in writing to the coordinator of The Pregnancy Center and include his or her adopted name, date of birth, and name(s) of the adoptive parents. You must be 18 years old to be eligible to participate. Adoptees under age 18 may receive (non-identifying) background information about their birth parents with the written permission of their adoptive parents. For more information, call 724-837-1840.
