Get Involved | Volunteer

Catholic Charities has a wide variety of opportunities for volunteers to get involved in the work and mission of the agency. If you are 16 years of age or older and want to dedicate some free time to helping meet the needs of others, please contact us.

Ways that you can get involved:

 

V  Staff our HelpLine

v  Respond to callers in need on our HelpLine

v  Weekdays 5 p.m. to midnight

v  Weekends and holidays 9 a.m. to midnight*
 

V  Participate on our fundraising committees

v  Communities of Salt and Light Awards Dinner committee

v  Annual Golf Outing committee

 

V  Assist with our Baby Closet

v  Sort and inventory baby clothing and items

 

V  Provide counseling*

v  Through our Counseling Center

 

V  Assist at gatherings where Catholic Charities provides exhibit tables

v  Answer questions and distribute literature about Catholic Charities

 

V  Participate in the United Way Day of Caring

v  Catholic Charities participates in several United Way organizations throughout the diocese

 

V  Help at the Heavenly Ice Cream Sandwich Booth at the Westmoreland Arts and Heritage Festival
