Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Greensburg provides emergency financial assistance for the following basic needs:

• Gas bills
• Electric bills
• Water bills
• Sewage bills
• Heating fuels, i.e., propane, oil, coal, wood
• Food (emergency food box)
• Prescriptions (must be mandatory for health reasons) 

Catholic Charities does not provide emergency financial assistance for the following, but can connect you with other resources that do:

• Utility security deposits
• Rent
• Mortgage payments
• Car payment or repairs
• Transportation
• Day care
• Funeral expenses  

Catholic Charities cannot respond to your need adequately through e-mail requests. Accessing services is as easy as a telephone call. Funds to provide for this assistance are raised totally from private contributions and fundraising events.
